A 20-year PR professional, for the past six years I've specialized in green-building and architecture/design-focused communications.
As director of communications for Columbia Forest Products, a $1 billion+ manufacturer of green panel products (hardwood plywood and veneers), I was one of a team of three who launched PureBond, a revolutionary formaldehyde-free hardwood plywood panel that pushed the decorative panel industry into a new era of environmental health.
PureBond won awards from Environmental Building News, Sustainable Industries and the Environmental Protection Agency. In 2007 I was asked to speak at the Society of Environmental Journalists' annual conference, on the subject of communications and commercialization of green-chemistry-based products.
Currently I work with sustainable A/D-focused manufacturers in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and Portland.
