Outward Bound's professional program's goal is to create positive, lasting change in the workplace through innovative, customized programs that enhance the effectiveness of individuals, groups and organizations.

People perform an action, then reflect on what they learned.  From this comes new ideas and approaches, from which new behaviors are adopted.  The four-pronged approach includes Assessment (through interviews and questionnaires), Design(tailoring a program on the existing strength of your group of company while focusing on individual, team, and organizational needs and objectives), Delivery (through experiential problem-solving exercises, ropes courses, and wilderness expeditions as vehicles to explore individual and organizational behavior), and Follow-Up (working with clients after the program to ensure that the key learning and behavioral changes are incorporated into the group’s or organization’s culture).
